Fields description

Information on massive missile and drone strikes against Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. A massive attack is defined as a coordinated strike in which a significant number of weapons (ranging from dozens to hundreds of missiles and UAVs) are deployed within a short period of time against one or multiple targets with the aim of disrupting the stable operation of the power system.

The selection of such attacks is based on official reports from the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine and NPC Ukrenergo. For each recorded date, the dataset is further supplemented with information from official summaries of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding the number and types of weapons used, as well as the number of weapons intercepted. Since August 2026, information on the number of ballistic missiles has not been disclosed.

Local strikes on energy facilities, which occur almost daily, especially in frontline and border regions, are not included in the dataset.
